Thanks for everyone's input but I ended up giving Aaron the fishing trip on Lake Ray Roberts.
We had a great time and highly recommend this quick, easy, affordable experience for everyone. We stayed a night at "The Spirit of the West" in Tioga off of 377....we'd driven by it literally 100 times and never noticed it. The rooms were nice, the property was gorgeous, the restauraunt was delish, and there were cows and kittens.
We met Jim McCutcheon at Lake Ray Roberts at 7:00am and headed onto the lake for our guided fishing tour. He was an incredibly nice man and we had a wonderful time. He says the fishing wasn't very good, but we caught probaby around 20 fish and were thrilled....especially since we threw quite a few back. He had snacks and drinks on the boat and even helped us clean and fillet the fish. We didn't get home until 4:00. It was a long, full and fun day!
Definitely a blast, definitely something we'll do again, and definitely better than a tv. :)
