just curious...

why is it that when we name our refrigerator (May because she's a Maytag)...she stops making that awful humming sound she's done for the 2 years we've lived here.

And when we talk crap about our 3 year old washer dryer and possibly wanting an upgrade....the dryer stops working.

Well...it works....we just have to hold the starter switch, spin the barrel clockwise, turn the knob, and slam the door really fast.

apparently....appliances have souls.....or ears at least.
